Grand Prix Rules 2009

To be eligible for Grand Prix points you must be a current Class Association member.

Each event will follow the rules as outlined in the regatta NOR.

The circuit will be 5 events with 1 drop regatta - a competitor's top 4 events will be scored.
The competitor with the most Grand Prix points at the end of the circuit, with 1 drop, will be declared champion.

Grand Prix Points

Grand Prix points will be awarded as follows: Position Points X Fleet Size Factor = Grand Prix Points
Position Points: Scale goes backwards from 20 down to 2 - 1st gets 20 pts, 2nd gets 19... down to 2 pts, then everyone else is awarded 2pts.
